We are traveling to your area in 2010! Yes, that's right! We are taking Random Arts on the road throughout the Southeast and Midwest in 2010 Check out our Calendar
Random Arts in Saluda is experiencing a magical transformation... both in our physical space and our day to day activities. Although our home base is still in Saluda, our retail store front no longer exists on Main St. In the mean time we are re-establishing ourselves in our newly, re-purposed studio/workshop space nearby.
From that space we will offer "better than ever" workshops, accommodating up to 20 students with inside and outside work areas, private parking and an enclosed courtyard for "all seasons" projects. This new addition to our space will allow us greater latitude for "getting messy" in our work.
As
we enter into the new year with overwhelming enthusiasm, we ask
each and every one of you to continue to check in with us and view our
progress as we move forward with our new adventures.
YOU are the reason
that Random Arts continues to exist and continues to thrive despite
the unforeseen changes.

I am not sure why I should feel bereft at the thought of your shop not being there. It has something to do with the discovery of art forms and materials that were unobtainable over here a few years back. ONE LAST TIME?????? you are closing????? oh no!!!! i can't stand it,
but if you must I understand it!! I wish that I could get down there
more often than once in a blue moon!!! I will just have to see you at
shows! Raleigh is closer than Saluda after all!!

Jane, your store was a hidden treasure in the mountains of NC and
although it is closed it will never truly be gone. It will always be in
